Founded by Toulouse residents Lucas Puig, Clem Brunel & Stéphen Khou in 2011. Hélas initially entered the market with a range of caps displaying iconic variations of their Umbrella logo. The ranges have evolved into super tech tracksuit components, an array of accessories & seasonal printables. Each drop boasts a great catalogue of colour and innovative design. Helas takes inspiration from 80's Sportswear capturing a vintage vibe with a complimenting colour pallet throughout the ranges. The inspiration for the brand stemmed from a trip to the UK where it was inevitability raining. Hélas in french translates to 'Unfortunately' which reflected the mutual feeling of the trio when they were unable to Skate during their trip, The now iconic Umbrella logo tied in to insinuate sheltering from the rain.
